Appearance: Felicity is a short, round faced woman with light brown wavy hair, which she cares little for, and normally pulls back into a loose pony tail when teaching or working with creatures. She is normally dressed in scruffy trousers, flowery blouses and wellies.

Personality: A bubbly down to earth person, who would rather muck out some unicorns than spend too much time with people of her own age, Felicity is a very caring person and would sooner walk away than get into a confrontation.

History: Born to muggles Lucy and Thomas Fairweather in 1998, Felicity was raised on a busy English farm in the heart of the Yorkshire countryside. Her parents had always known there was something special about their daughter but when the letter from Hogwarts came on her 11th birthday, they were overwhelmed.

Felicity had struggled at her own muggle primary school. And had often been mocked for her lack of academic ability, and Hogwarts wasn’t much different. Preferring hands on tasks rather than those involving the confusing and often difficult wand movements, she excelled in Potions, Herbology and Care of Magical creatures.

As a child she had been fascinated by mythical creatures, and learning they were all real was like something from a dream. She spent a lot of her spare time with Rubeus Hagrid, the COMC Professor at the time, learning as much as she possibly could about the creatures of the magical world.

She left Hogwarts at 18 with 4 NEWTS under her belt, and spent 5 years working in the Regulation and Control of Magical creatures, before being offered the position at Hogwarts. At first she was hesitant to take on the job, but she decided there was nothing better that she could do with her life than show young adults the joy of the animal world.

She has been working at Hogwarts now for four years and is known as a very laid back Professor, though she has no tolerance for bullying and fighting in her classes. Her laid back attitude is often the annoyance of other Professor’s when outspoken pupils challenge their strict ways of teaching.
